JOHN TERRY OFF TO THE MLS

As the season gradually winds down, there are some players that rumoured to be on their way out of the Premier League at the end of the term.

Chelsea legend John Terry is one of the top contenders to exit the league after a long time. The former Three Lions star is likely to exit Stamford Bridge for the Major League Soccer with LA Galaxy being the likely destination, according to reports.

LA Galaxy have lost Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane but as the season starts this weekend, Terry could still join this summer – with hopefully him lifting the Premier League and leaving on a high. His contract is set to end in July but by current indications, Coach Antonio Conte would not give him a new deal. The 36-year old still has experience that would be helpful to the Galaxy in their title charge.

On the other hand, Manchester United would likely give Wayne Rooney an additional year to remain at Old Trafford. The skipper rejected moves to China and he is likely to say no if Everton come calling this summer. He would likely receive a hero’s welcome at Goodison but with the Toffees not likely to get Champions League spot, it is not something to really aspire to.

Even if Everton decide to offer Man United talented right back Seamus Coleman, Rooney is not likely to join. Coleman would be a decent option especially as a support and competition to Antonio Valencia. The Irishman has been linked with a move to Old Trafford but only time can tell if it would ever happen.

Keisuke Honda is another player that has been linked with a move to the MLS. The Milan star has struggled to match expectation since his move from CSKA Moscow in 2014.
