The future is looking very promising for Pochettino and Tottenham

Mauricio Pochettino’s first season in charge of Tottenham Hotspur saw him pushing the English team into the 5th spot of the Premier League as well as managing to squeeze into the finals of the Football League club which was disputed at Wembley in London between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur but the team of Jose Mourinho came out victorious with a final scoreboard of 2-0.

Even though Tottenham Hotspur lost in the finals, they still made an impressive run in the Football League Cup as they overcame the likes of: Brighton & Hove Albion, Notthingham Forest, Newcastle United and Sheffield United before eventually reaching the finals against Chelsea.

One of the key things that is important to take note of is the fact that Mauricio Pochettino has a very young squad at his disposal with all of them having already displayed what they are capable of doing in the pitch.

From the defensive department of the squad to the offensive one, it’s a team that is vibrant and energetic with youth players who have their entire career ahead of them. Danny Rose is 24 year old, Kyle Walker is 25 and Eric Dier is 21. Those are the main the defensive players of Tottenham Hotspur.

Moving along into the attacking section of Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane stands out as the English player scored 31 goals in the previous season and he is just 21 years old. Along with Harry Kane, there are more players who are rated highly and have been attracting the attention of clubs all around Europe.

This youth is just one of the reasons of why the future of Tottenham Hotspur and Mauricio Pochettino is starting to look bright as fans are beginning to have high expectations for what the Argentine coach can accomplish in his 2nd year in charge of the Premier League club and they have good reasons as Pochettino seems to have a plan in how to optimize his team and help them reach feats that they haven’t done in a long time.
